New Electrical Installations & Supplies
New work is the cleanest kind of electrical job, because everything can be planned instead of worked around. On the commercial side that means a new supply into a building, the distribution to go with it, containment run at the right height and circuits set out to suit how the space will actually be used.
At home the same thinking applies to a kitchen, an extension, a loft conversion or a garden room. We agree where every socket, switch and light goes before a cable is pulled, work in with your builder or kitchen fitter at the right stages, and leave the job tested and signed off.

New installations questions, answered
How much does a new electrical installation cost?
In Birmingham, one new circuit often costs around £250 to £500. Power to a garden room is often £800 to £2,000, depending on the distance. These are typical UK ranges, not our price list. We always give you one fixed price in writing before we start.
Can you work alongside my builder or kitchen fitter?
Yes, and it usually saves everyone time. We fit the cabling and the finals at the right stages so nobody is left waiting on us.
Can you bring a new supply into a unit or building?
Yes. We install the sub-mains, the distribution and the containment, and we coordinate with the network operator where a new incoming supply is involved.
Will the work be certified?
Always. Every job is tested and given the right certificate, and anything notifiable is registered with Building Control for you.
