Sheldon is home. We are based just off Sheldon Heath Road, a few minutes from the Coventry Road, which puts the airport, the A45 and the M42 within reach of the van before the traffic builds. It is the reason we can be on a job in the city in the morning and out on a site by lunchtime.
The housing here is mostly the big interwar estate that went up along the Coventry Road in the 1930s, so a lot of it is bay-fronted semis on their original layout: two sockets a room, an old board in the hall cupboard and a garage that never got a proper supply. That means rewires, board changes and driveway car chargers make up most of our Sheldon week, with Sheldon Country Park and the older houses at Lyndon on one side and the units at Garretts Green on the other.
