EV Charger Installation
Car charging is a big part of our work, at both ends of the scale. We fit single units on driveways and in workplace car parks, and we build the whole supply for charging hubs: the ducting, the cabling, the feeder pillar and the units themselves.
The difference between a good charger installation and a poor one is everything you cannot see. The dedicated circuit, the earthing arrangement, the load on the incoming supply and the protection behind it all have to be right. We check the supply before we quote, so the price you are given is the price you pay, and everything is tested, certified and registered when it is done.

How much does an EV charger cost to install?
A home charger in Birmingham usually costs around £800 to £1,300 fitted. A long cable run or a new fuse board adds to that. These are typical UK ranges, not our price list. We always give you one fixed price in writing before we start.
Can my house supply handle a 7kW charger?
Most can, but we always check the incoming supply and the fuse box first as part of the survey. If anything needs upgrading you will know before you commit, in one clear price.
Can you install chargers for a car park or a charging hub?
Yes, and we do a lot of it. That means the groundworks and ducting, the cabling, the distribution or feeder pillar feeding the bays, and the units on top, all commissioned and tested.
Can I charge on a cheaper overnight tariff?
Yes. We set the charger up so it charges automatically in your cheap-rate window, which is where the real running-cost saving comes from.
